After completing a master plan of Woodlawn in large groups, we were each tasked with designing the community's train station. My building, using the Art Deco style popular in the heyday of Woodlawn, welcomes passengers with a large sunset burst glass window. Passengers enter into a ticket hall and then proceed onto one of the two platforms. The building features retail on the ground floor that opens both to the street and the inside of the station in order to allow flexibility in operating hours. The second floor is zoned for office space.
